This artwork by Robert Graafland achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2006. In the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Gathering Flowers sold for EUR 9,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Graafland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zomer Weelde: Chatting In The Garden in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 90,250.00.

In der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Gathering Flowers für EUR 9.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Graafland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zomer Weelde: Chatting In The Garden im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 90.250,00.
