In June 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work On the veranda by Robert Graafland. The auction ended at the price of EUR 10,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Graafland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Zomer Weelde: Chatting In The Garden in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 90,250.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the veranda von Robert Graafland zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Graafland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Zomer Weelde: Chatting In The Garden im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 90.250,00.
