In December this year Phillips in 7 - held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York, which included the work Act Like A Son by Rinus van de Velde. The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,780.00 (€ 16,073.04), 48% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Rinus van de Velde have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work And So I Forced Myself.... in November this year with an auction result of EUR 72,600.00.

Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 7 - die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Act Like A Son von Rinus van de Velde zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 17.780,00 (€ 16.073,04) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rinus van de Velde auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit And So I Forced Myself.... im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 72.600,00.
