Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Richard Wathen could be acquired at Christies in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition auction, the work Rose changed hands for GBP 375.00 (€ 444.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Wathen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lower Kingdom in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 80,500.00 (€ 65,108.38).
