A top price for Richard Stone - as previously expected
In October 2018 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Trophy" by Richard Stone. The price achieved of SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,157.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Trophy" is the most expensive artwork by Richard Stone that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2018 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Trophy" von Richard Stone zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.157,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Trophy" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Richard Stone, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
