Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Richard Stone Reeves could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Twenty Grand changed hands for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,482.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Stone Reeves achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Northern Dancer in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,033.71).
