Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Narrow River, Orient, New York by Richard Stone Reeves for USD 1,125.00 (€ 1,008.61). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Stone Reeves achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Northern Dancer in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,033.71).
