In November 2007 Christies in London held the auction Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work A lady, in lace-trimmed white dress, white ribbon tied at corsage, two-strand pearl necklace centred with a gold-mounted gem-set pendant, upswept hair by Richard Schwager. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 3,150.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 3.150,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00.
