Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Roy Lichtenstein, "The Artist's Studio: The Dance" 1974 by Richard Pettibone. The price achieved of GBP 51,200.00 (€ 59,587.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Pettibone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Andy Warhol, "Saturday Disaster," 1964; Train Wreck; Jasper Johns, "Flag On Orange Field," 1957; Andy Warhol, "Double Elvis," 1963 (Two Times); Roy Lichtenstein, "We Rose Up Slowly," 1964; Frank Stella, "Tomlinson Court Park" 1959; Andy Warhol, "Larg in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 688,000.00 (€ 51
