In May 2019 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work 3 Modulare Ordnungen - 3 Serielle Ordnungen (3 Modular Orders - 3 Serial Orders) by Richard Paul Lohse. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,250.00 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Paul Lohse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Neun Vertikale Systematische Farbreihen Mit Horizontaler Und Vertikaler Verdichtung, 1955/69 in May 2014 with an auction result of CHF 317,000.00 (€ 259,828.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 3 Modulare Ordnungen - 3 Serielle Ordnungen (3 Modular Orders - 3 Serial Orders) von Richard Paul Lohse zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.250,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Paul Lohse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Neun Vertikale Systematische Farbreihen Mit Horizontaler Und Vertikaler Verdichtung, 1955/69 im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 317.000,00 (€ 259.828,45).
