Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Richard La Barre Goodwin could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Good Luck changed hands for USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,381.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard La Barre Goodwin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Theodore Roosevelt'S Cabin Door in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 486,400.00 (€ 379,022.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard La Barre Goodwin konnte im September 2010 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard La Barre Goodwin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Theodore Roosevelt'S Cabin Door im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 486.400,00 (€ 379.022,83).
