A top price for Richard Hickam - as previously expected
The work Churchman by Richard Hickam was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,576.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Churchman is the most expensive artwork by Richard Hickam that we have observed at auctions so far.
