It achieved a price of GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,451.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Admittedly, works by Richard Henry Nibbs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch passage boat in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,058.40).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.527,50 (€ 2.451,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Henry Nibbs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch passage boat im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.058,40).
