In December 2010 Christies in New York held the auction The Year of the Rabbit: The Playboy Collection, which included the work Rachel Jean Marteen, August Playmate of the Month, 1995 by Richard Fegley. The price achieved of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,507.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Richard Fegley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2010 the work Priscilla Taylor, March Playmate of the Month, 1996 was auctioned for USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,637.73).
