A top price for Richard Evett Bishop - as previously expected
In November 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Sporting Art, which included the work American Pintails At Sunset by Richard Evett Bishop. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,510.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, American Pintails At Sunset is the most expensive artwork by Richard Evett Bishop that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Sporting Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit American Pintails At Sunset von Richard Evett Bishop zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.510,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist American Pintails At Sunset das teuerste Kunstwerk von Richard Evett Bishop, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
