Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Sporting Sale: Equestrian, Wildlife & Maritime Art, which included the work American A Pair Of Black Ducks by Richard Evett Bishop. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,286.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Richard Evett Bishop have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work American Pintails At Sunset was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,510.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Sporting Sale: Equestrian, Wildlife & Maritime Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit American A Pair Of Black Ducks von Richard Evett Bishop zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.286,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Richard Evett Bishop konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit American Pintails At Sunset für USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.510,35) versteigert.
