Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2001 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS, which included the work Wired... by Richard Larter. The price achieved of AUD 6,462.50 (€ 3,873.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Larter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Outlook I-Vii (7) in November 2007 with an auction result of AUD 74,400.00 (€ 44,818.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2001 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wired... von Richard Larter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 6.462,50 (€ 3.873,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Larter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Outlook I-Vii (7) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 74.400,00 (€ 44.818,30).
