This artwork by Richard Bergh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Lady with a fan sold for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 24,863.32) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 100,000.00. This high result makes Lady with a fan the most expensive artwork by Richard Bergh that we have observed at auctions so far.
