Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Richard Bergh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2017. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work "Handstudier till Gustaf Fröding" (study) sold for SEK 85,000.00 (€ 8,819.56) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Bergh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lady with a fan, which sold at auction in June 2020 for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 24,863.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Bergh erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit "Handstudier till Gustaf Fröding" (study) für SEK 85.000,00 (€ 8.819,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Bergh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lady with a fan beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für SEK 260.000,00 (€ 24.863,32) versteigert wurde.
