The price achieved of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 68,108.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Ansdell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wounded Hound in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 478,400.00 (€ 710,438.97).
