Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Harvest Time by Richard Adams was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in September 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,405.89). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Adams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Providing the Town, which sold at auction in November 2019 for GBP 3,812.00 (€ 4,476.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Harvest Time von Richard Adams wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.405,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Adams mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Providing the Town beobachtet, die im November 2019 für GBP 3.812,00 (€ 4.476,22) versteigert wurde.
