The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,600.00 (€ 11,538.46), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ricardo Mazal have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 19,120.00 (€ 20,473.28) in May 2002 for the work One inch above no. 3.
