Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marzo 27 by Ricardo Mazal was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,755.00 (€ 9,140.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ricardo Mazal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work One inch above no. 3, which sold at auction in May 2002 for USD 19,120.00 (€ 20,473.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Marzo 27 von Ricardo Mazal kam im Mai 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.755,00 (€ 9.140,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
