Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Reynolds Stone could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Farm Rooftops And Trees changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,174.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Reynolds Stone have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2010 by the work Old Buildings at GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,624.99).
