Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Entrée Du Conservatoire by René Prinet was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2011. The price achieved of EUR 991.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Prinet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frenchkreutzer Sonata in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 126,737.53).
