Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by René Prinet could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work French salon De Famille changed hands for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,105.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Prinet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frenchkreutzer Sonata in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 126,737.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von René Prinet konnte im November 2013 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit French salon De Famille für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.105,84) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Prinet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frenchkreutzer Sonata im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 126.737,53).
