Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage A La Terrasse by René Auguste Seyssaud was sold in the Modern Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in May 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,650.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by René Auguste Seyssaud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bateaux À Quai, Vers 1935, which sold at auction in May 2006 for EUR 22,800.00.

Die Arbeit Paysage A La Terrasse von René Auguste Seyssaud wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Modern Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.650,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von René Auguste Seyssaud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bateaux À Quai, Vers 1935 beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für EUR 22.800,00 versteigert wurde.
