Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by René Laubies was sold in the Vente en ligne d'Art Contemporain auction at Christies in Paris in December 2021. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by René Laubies - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre - 1980, which sold at auction in April 2016 for EUR 8,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von René Laubies wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Vente en ligne d'Art Contemporain bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von René Laubies mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1980 beobachtet, die im April 2016 für EUR 8.450,00 versteigert wurde.
