Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1958 by René Laubies. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,230.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by René Laubies - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre - 1980, which sold at auction in April 2016 for EUR 8,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1958 von René Laubies zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.230,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von René Laubies mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1980 beobachtet, die im April 2016 für EUR 8.450,00 versteigert wurde.
