Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2004 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by René Guiette for EUR 717.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Guiette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homme Et Femme Au Fauteuil Gris Ou Le Fauteuil Gris in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2004 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von René Guiette für EUR 717,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Guiette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homme Et Femme Au Fauteuil Gris Ou Le Fauteuil Gris im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
