A top price for René Burri - as previously expected
The work São Paulo, Brazil by René Burri was auctioned at Phillips in London in November 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,447.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, São Paulo, Brazil is the most expensive artwork by René Burri that we have observed at auctions so far.
