Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by René Auberjonois - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait de Femme, um 1940, which sold at auction in December 2000 for CHF 49,350.00 (€ 32,444.42).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 10.000,00 (€ 9.405,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von René Auberjonois mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait de Femme, um 1940 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2000 für CHF 49.350,00 (€ 32.444,42) versteigert wurde.
