Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Natura morta cubista by Renato Paresce for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 43,711.63). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist/Modern Day Sale (immediately following Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper) at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Renato Paresce have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2010 by the work La fenêtre II at EUR 78,920.00.
