A top price for Renate Bauer - as previously expected
This work without title by Renate Bauer was sold in the Contemporary auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,538.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Renate Bauer that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Renate Bauer wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 22.000,00 (€ 2.538,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Renate Bauer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
