In May 2007 Christies in Milan held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Cromogramma by Renata Boero. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,224.00 61% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Renata Boero have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cromogramma in May 2021 with an auction result of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,592.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cromogramma von Renata Boero zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.224,00 und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Renata Boero auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cromogramma im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.592,47).
