A top price for Ren Zhenyu
The work Mao No. 2 by Ren Zhenyu was worth HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,430.97) to a buyer in October 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Mao No. 2 the most expensive artwork by Ren Zhenyu that we have observed at auctions so far.
