Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Pine in Mount Huang by Ren Zhenhan for HKD 8,190.00 (€ 957.00). This price was achieved in the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Ren Zhenhan have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2019 by the work Looking at Mount Guanyin at HKD 16,250.00 (€ 1,859.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pine in Mount Huang von Ren Zhenhan für HKD 8.190,00 (€ 957,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ren Zhenhan wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2019 die Arbeit Looking at Mount Guanyin mit HKD 16.250,00 (€ 1.859,81).
