A top price for Ren Zhenhan - as previously expected
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Looking at Mount Guanyin by Ren Zhenhan. The price achieved of HKD 16,250.00 (€ 1,859.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Looking at Mount Guanyin is the most expensive artwork by Ren Zhenhan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Looking at Mount Guanyin von Ren Zhenhan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 16.250,00 (€ 1.859,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Looking at Mount Guanyin das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ren Zhenhan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
