Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work People – Plant – Money by Ren Rong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year. It achieved a price of HKD 13,860.00 (€ 1,675.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Rong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Big Family (Thirty-Two Parts) in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 67,000.00 (€ 42,391.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit People – Plant – Money von Ren Rong kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 13.860,00 (€ 1.675,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Rong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Big Family (Thirty-Two Parts) im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 67.000,00 (€ 42.391,65).
