Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2019 Christies in Zurich held the auction Swiss Art, which included the work UN VIDE UN LIEU, 1986-87 by Rémy Zaugg. Here, the upper estimate of CHF 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CHF 32,500.00 (€ 29,868.41). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rémy Zaugg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work About Death Ii (Triptych) I. And If Death I Were Blind Eyes Ii. And If Death I Were Lips Eyes Iii. Untitled, which sold at auction in December 2017 for CHF 97,500.00 (€ 83,282.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2019 führte Christies in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit UN VIDE UN LIEU, 1986-87 von Rémy Zaugg zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CHF 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CHF 32.500,00 (€ 29.868,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rémy Zaugg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit About Death Ii (Triptych) I. And If Death I Were Blind Eyes Ii. And If Death I Were Lips Eyes Iii. Untitled beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für CHF 97.500,00 (€ 83.282,94) versteigert wurde.
