Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,727.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rekha Rodwittiya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In The Illusion The Only Thing Missing Is That The Street Has No Other Side, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 29,656.48).
