The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,347.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rekha Rodwittiya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In The Illusion The Only Thing Missing Is That The Street Has No Other Side in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 29,656.48).
