In the American Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work Woman Reading a Newspaper on a Subway sold for USD 5,287.50 (€ 5,879.57) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald Marsh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merry-Go-Round in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
