Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sailor with Women (Four Studies) by Reginald Marsh was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August last year. It achieved a price of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,393.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald Marsh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merry-Go-Round in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sailor with Women (Four Studies) von Reginald Marsh kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.393,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reginald Marsh erzielen.
