Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Iron Workers by Reginald Marsh. It changed hands for a price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,652.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald Marsh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merry-Go-Round in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iron Workers von Reginald Marsh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 26.652,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reginald Marsh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Merry-Go-Round im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40).
