This artwork by Reginald Easton achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2021. In the Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures auction, the work Portrait Of Edith Montgomery sold for GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,608.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Reginald Easton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Young Girl, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,577.51).
