In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Miniatures from a Private Collection, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Girl by Reginald Easton. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,577.51), 46% above the upper estimate. With this result, Portrait Of A Young Girl is even the most expensive work of art by Reginald Easton that we have observed at auctions so far.
