Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work La Conversation by Raymond Jean Legueult. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,480.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raymond Jean Legueult achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fenêtre Ouverte Sur Le Jardin in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Conversation von Raymond Jean Legueult zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.480,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raymond Jean Legueult erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fenêtre Ouverte Sur Le Jardin im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
