Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Erotic Online, which included the work The Abbey Of Thelema by Raphaël Delorme. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,763.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raphaël Delorme have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Weiblicher Akt im Maschinenraum in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 125,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Erotic Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Abbey Of Thelema von Raphaël Delorme zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.763,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raphaël Delorme auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Weiblicher Akt im Maschinenraum im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 125.000,00.
