It achieved a price of EUR 1,880.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raoul Martinez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waalseilandgracht, which sold at auction in October 2003 for EUR 4,780.00.

Die Arbeit A still life with roses, fruits and a guitar von Raoul Martinez wurde im Januar 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.880,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 71 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Raoul Martinez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waalseilandgracht beobachtet, die im Oktober 2003 für EUR 4.780,00 versteigert wurde.
